Heyy everyone,
Every year on the 31st of October there is an event were kids dress up in scary costumes and go trick or treating around in thereneighbour with there parents and get lollies. It was originated in America not many familys go but it is really fun, I always get dressed up in something scary and I always go with my friends and I get lots of lollies. This Saturday is Halloween.

Congradulations to Tiah, Paul, Lachlan and Esther for getting the chance to be on the graduation committee, I am sure you will do really great and the graduation will be really fun with all of you in charge. I wanted to be on the committee but I am glad it was you four.
I can not wait for the graduation and if any one has any ideas I am sure you will listen and bring them up in your meetings every Tuesday and that will make it even better.

This is my graduation committee application
I think I would be good for the graduation committee because I would think of ideas and listen to others when they have an idea, I would be open for all ideas because i know being on the graduation committee is allot of work and is important to listen to other ideas from different people and I would bring the ideas to the committee. I am an organised person so I would take everything seriously and organise it aproppriately.

This term for our inquiry unit we have been learning about Why Is The World Coming To Adelaide?
I learnt people from all over the world come to Australia specifically Adelaide because they might be miggrants or mabye immigrants it’s not allways because of tourist attractions and to see family.
Our task was to create a rap, a box and we also had to find fake information like were they were born, what happened to there family and things like that. Then after a few weeks the teachers would choose a box for each group then they would go looking through them and try and figure out what the persons name was and all about their life. Then after that the teacher picked our names from a hat and we would get ready while she would ask who opened our box once they tried to figure it out. We would do our rap and tell them all about it in our rap.
Everyone in my class had to write a blog post on Why is the world coming to Adelaide? we also had to write at least half a page of reasons why. After everyone finished our teachers chose groups out of a hat and we had to work with them for about two weeks and then on a Wednesday we had to present it to the whole class.

Hey, This week im writing a post on this “What proof is there that cultures have come to Adelaide?” well theres lots of proof on how cultures have come.
Firstly, The way some people dress. It’s different to how some australians dress like someone from Japan might wear a Kimono or mabey someone might were something you’ve never seen before.
Secondly, There is different kinds of food you can find in adelaide like Chinese, Japanese or mabey Italian, and you can also find lots more.
Thirdly, They have different religions and different backrounds mabey different to yours mabey even the same you never know.
Lastly, They might have an accent or even talk in a different language that you might not know or you might not understand.

Last week LA20 and LA21 went swimming for the whole week it was really fun. We went to the Thebarton Aquatic Centre. There was so many activities. I liked the diving activitie I can’t dive properly but atleast I tried. I had my friends bonny, alex008 and tammy in my group but most of the time it was just me, scruffy and kman in our group. Swiminmg was so much fun and I really enjoyed. bye Vic101

My teachers Mr.Wegner and Ms.Martin and Mrs.Paladino from next door are the three yr 7 teachers. Every yr 7 has their own high flyer folder. A high flyer folder is a folder that each term the yr 7’s do work to put in it first you get a sheet and you get choices of what you want to do and things you have to do. And if you do everything you need to do you get a certificate for what you have achieved.

Every person in my class has chosen one story that we found the most interesting.
The brother of the gangland figure Lewis Moran has been shot at by a balaclava-clad gunman in the driveway of his home at Ascot Vale, in Melbourne’s north.
Desmond Moran has said he saw a shadow fly past him before the man fired a bullet through the window of his car, at about 8:50pm to 9:00pm.
Himself and a man had been sitting in his car in the driveway of his home. A Balaclava-clad person fired a single shot at Mr Moran’s Mercedes coupe.

Its 2009 already I cant believe it was just 2008 and now it’s 2009 the year went so fast. It’s so quick. I’m actually glad its 2009 because 2008 is over and now I’m a year 7. I have so many memories from 2008 like swimming and camp and other things like excursions. But it doesn’t matter because I’m going to have an assume year just like I did in 2008. But I know 2009 will be as great as 2008.
