Every person in my class has chosen one story that we found the most interesting.
The brother of the gangland figure Lewis Moran has been shot at by a balaclava-clad gunman in the driveway of his home at Ascot Vale, in Melbourne’s north.
Desmond Moran has said he saw a shadow fly past him before the man fired a bullet through the window of his car, at about 8:50pm to 9:00pm.
Himself and a man had been sitting in his car in the driveway of his home. A Balaclava-clad person fired a single shot at Mr Moran’s Mercedes coupe.

Its 2009 already I cant believe it was just 2008 and now it’s 2009 the year went so fast. It’s so quick. I’m actually glad its 2009 because 2008 is over and now I’m a year 7. I have so many memories from 2008 like swimming and camp and other things like excursions. But it doesn’t matter because I’m going to have an assume year just like I did in 2008. But I know 2009 will be as great as 2008.
Do you have your own mp3 or iPod? Do you like listening to it? Our class LA20 are having a discussion on ipod’s and mp3’s like if we should have them in class or if we shouldn’t have them. I believe we should have them.
Work more easily, because it blocks out people talking and that’s a distraction. What would you rather music or talking for your background? I’d prefer music.
I think music is good because it helps people concentrate on their work. Because there is no talking in the background.
Having no iPod’s and no mp3’s can make people really distracted. Because with out them it’s so loud you can’t hear your self think.
I guess having them in the classroom is bad. Because having them can you don’t know what their listening to. But it is still good to have them.
In conclusion I believe we should be able to have them in class when we are working we should be aloud to use them.
Oh my gosh I’m a year 7 last year in 2008 I was a year 6. Now all me and my friends are year 7’s in 2009 it’s so cool. I can’t believe it’s our last year in primary school. It’s a big deal for us because we are Lockleys North primary school 2009 graduates. It’s so cool. Last year at the start of the year I couldn’t wait to be a year 7 and now I am I thought it would take ages and it did but it was worth the wait because I am now and I’m so excited and happy.
